The candidates running to fill the vacant Ward 4 council seat don’t have much in common when it comes to age or political experience. But all three agree that the rising cost of housing is one of the biggest issues facing Concord, and one they would fight to remedy if chosen by voters in the special election on July 13.
“I think anyone who lives in Concord understands that this is an unprecedented housing crisis,” said Connor Spern, 24, who says that being a young person and a renter make her uniquely qualified to represent those two groups on the Council.
