The Minneapolis indie-rockers went on the road — err, in the air — in support of their fourth album, the self-titled, "Bad Bad Hats," before a show at First Ave.
It was another good starting pitching performance that didn’t result in a win Sunday night for the Jefferson City Renegades. Carter Gorling threw seven strong innings for the Renegades, but the Joplin Outlaws hit a game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth inning and outlasted Jefferson City for a 5-4 victory in 13 innings in MINK League action at Joe Becker Stadium.
