West Lafayette s Mo Omonode finishes runner-up at wrestling state finals
Mo Omonode finished state runner-up at Saturday night s IHSAA wrestling state finals. Omonode lost 3-2 to Fort Wayne Carroll s Reeve Muncie.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) West Lafayette junior Mo Omonode finished the wrestling season as state runner-up Saturday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Omonode s season came to an end with a 3-2 loss in the heavy weight (285 lbs) division against Fort Wayne Carroll s Reeve Muncie.
Omonode became the first-ever West Side wrestler to compete in the state championship match, and finished the 2020-2021 season with a 16-1 overall record. It s important to note that Omonode began his wrestling career just two years ago. ....
