Communicate with the faa, electronically file a flight plan. within that flight plan has to be a dispatch time a time of arrival, the route of the flight and weight and balance information of the aircraft, the fuel on the aircraft and other sundry information required for safe flight and proper flow management of traffic by the faa. this could be a computer bug in the software of united or the continental systems. it could be a third party connectivity problem. it could be a very low probability of a hack or a combination of all three that became a cascading problem. but i have to tell you, simply because the problem has been resolved the issues that are going to be run into by the airlines concerning delays and other airlines and the passenger ....
Inconvenience is not over. what we have in the united states right now developing is a major and massive weather system in the midwest extending from texas through illinois which is just firing up into large thunderstorms and will intensify as the afternoon goes on and that is moving eastward. we also have a weather system developing north of charlotte extending into the northeast, moving east now, that will also intensify. this is all going to complicate this computer glitch or this connectivity problem and result in massive delays today, perhaps through tomorrow. i m glad you brought that up because we haven t even talked about the weather factor as we re watching this united flight right now. it is moving. good news as we ve seen so many of them just grounded there. the gates, this is lax, but again a sight that many of those ....
