Inventec Performance Chemicals USA, a global provider of soldering, cleaning & coating materials for electronic, semiconductor and industrial applications, has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court District of Connecticut against Optimal Services LLC, Amtech Manufacturing LLC, Amtech LLC, Amtech Distribution LLC and Mark Miller, an individual, and other unnamed defendants, for unfair competition, false designation of origin and false advertising under Section 43(a) of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a), and for violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practice Act, arising from the alleged unauthorized use of Inventec USA’s trademarks.

Hillsong Church has taken additional hits to its brand from two recent property-related lawsuits in the U.S. and Australia that accuses church leaders of “immoral, oppressive and unscrupulous” conduct and seeks to recover more than $20 million in collective damages.
