Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury hinted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi managed the optics of his first Covid-19 vaccine jab to bring in elements from as many poll-bound states as possible.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “In PM s inoculation visuals, there was gamcha from Assam, and nurses who vaccinated him were from Kerala and Puducherry. Coincidentally, there are elections in these states. It would have been 5 states had he also carried Rishi Aurobindo s photo and Geetanjali.”

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury formally announced the Congress-Left alliance for the upcoming 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections on Tuesday. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Chowdhury said both parties have finalised seat-sharing along with formulating how different ideologies can team up for nation-building .

New Delhi:Â A bill to merge the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) cadre of all-India services officers with the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre was passed by Lok Sabha on Saturday by a voice vote.
The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2021 has already been passed by Rajya Sabha.
The statutory resolution, opposing the ordinance which the bill has replaced, was rejected by the house. An amendment too was defeated by a voice vote.
Lok Sabha resumed normal functioning Monday after a week-long disruption over the three Central farm laws following an appeal by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that it was a duty of every member to maintain the tradition of passing the Motion of Thanks to President s address.
