We dont know what the political environment will be like in 2018 but the first year, first couple months of a presidency are usually the biggest window for governing and legislating. Republicans have a majority in the house, a majority in the senate, and whether trump says so or not, the buck stops with the g. O. P. In the mind of voters. So right now you have a combination of an angry democratic base.
