We have celebrated Constitution Day since 1950 6, 4 years after installing the original parchment document in its place of honor in the rotunda. We have celebrated the constitution in many ways. Tomorrow, we host one of my favorite events, a naturalization ceremony for new citizens of the United States. It is always a moving experience to witness this experience with people from all parts of the world, who stand in front of the constitution and swear to support and defend it.
