No word how many could be trapped and what caused the collapse. Here is what the mayor said a short time ago. They were doing roof work on the building at the time. Certainly that doesnt seem like it would be the issue that would have caused it. Some of the residents at the Community Center have complained to me the new building that went up to the south used to shake the building when they were putting the pilings in. We need to look hard at what happened there and find out because buildings just dont fall down like this. We had the dogs out there probably a few hours ago over the collapsed area and were just not getting any hits which is really heartbreaking. Bill its a sound bite that captures the moment for what were trying to understand really beneath the rubble. Dana one thing we do know the building was going under a renovation of some sorts. That might have perhaps contributed to this terrible situation. Bill the authorities have been we see the sirens all night long. At the mo

Once that press Conference Begins we will bring that to you live during our newscast. I want to talk about the entire town of calistoga. It is still under that mandatory evacuation order. More than 5,000 people are out of their homes. Reporter good morning. Its a situation that folks here in calistoga are all too familiar with. Just driving through town, you can see the roads are more empty than they typically would be and many of those businesses have shut their doors. Its because of that mandatory evacuation because of whats happening just over my shoulder, weve been here since about 4 00 this morning. And this particular hill has been calmed and reignited and calmed and reignited. And now its a huge plume of smoke that weve seen the last 45 minutes. This is just one example of the impeding danger folks here in calistoga are under. Weve had crews here since last night

It would soon be unleashed on the japanese cities of hiroshima and nagasaki. The Truman Library institute provided this video. We are at the 75th anniversary of the potsdam conference. Big numbers like a 75th anniversary or a 100th anniversary are always occasions for looking back and for drawing attention. I think theres another reason to look back at potsdam as we are in our own day and age reentering a world of Great Power Competition and reentering a world where geopolitics seems to have come back to the fore of international thinking and International Relations thinking. So its well worth us comiing back to this subject, so im especially glad to have a chance to talk to you about it. I wish it was in person, again, in kansas city. I wish that we were able to do this facetoface, but we will do the very best that we can. The key thing here that i want to return to throughout this presentation is shown by this photograph here of Winston Churchill, harry truman and josef stalin smilin
