서울중앙지검은 30일 해당 의혹과 관련해 “증인 장모 씨의 정식 조사 시작 전 3시간 30분의 시간은 ‘수사 과정 확인서’에 ‘사전 면담’과 ‘점심 식사’를 한 것으로 기재돼 있다”고 반박했다.
그러면서 “사전 면담은 40여 분 분량의 동영상을 두 차례 돌려보면서 장 씨를 포함한 세미나 참석자들을 일일이 확인하고, 조서에 담기 위한 캡처 화면을 만드는 시간이고, ‘진술 조서’에 그 내용이 담겨 있다”고 설명했다.
