Monday brought a mix of emotions for high school students, teachers and staff in Conejo Valley Unified School District.
At last, after delays and frustration over the last few months, Thousand Oaks, Westlake and Newbury Park high schools began hybrid learning on campus. Conejo Unified is only the second public school district to bring back high school students to campus since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
Staff at Conejo Unified schools put on the the final touches for the students return. At Thousand Oaks High, decorations at the front of the school read Welcome home, Lancers. A sign at the student entry gate at Newbury Park High read We love you, Panthers.
