Halfway through the month of April and here we are, getting ready for yet another holiday, Mother's Day will be here before long, and for once, can we think of momma and NOT get arrested that week? Well, we're not there yet, so let's explore what happened last week in Bowie County. There were 88 total arrests in Bowie County the week after Easter, 18 more than last week. Bowie County deputies brought in 33 of those, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 50.
Week #1 of the brand new year and Bowie County is off to a roaring start with 61 total arrests in Bowie County last week. Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested 18 of those while 43 were arrested by other area law enforcement agencies and turned over to the BCSO.
There were 11 people arrested by BCSO last week, however, there were an additional 41 people arrested by other law enforcement agencies and turned over to BCSO, and every day had at least one Assault investigation except Monday.
