UP Board will introduce computerised identity cards with unique QR codes and serial numbers for invigilators in order to ensure fair exams. Around 2.75 lakh invigilators will receive these identity cards, which will prevent replication and impersonation. The cards will also display the teaching subject of the invigilator, allowing for substitution by other teachers to prevent cheating. The exams will take place from February 22 to March 9, with a total of 17 days of exams in two shifts. Over 55 lakh students are registered to appear for the exams.
