What has been missing from the discussion of criminal Justice Reform as the special and specific impact the tough own crime arrow has had on women and children. Todays hearing begins a discussion about women and the criminal Justice System. It is critical we understand how and why women become involved in the system, what happens to them when they are in one when they are incarcerated, and what happens when they are released.
