Iqbal Hossain Swapan, a member of Companiganj upazila unit Sramik League and also a supporter of Mirza, lodged the case accusing 196 named persons, including Khizir, and some 50 to 60 unnamed ones.
In the case statement, Swapan alleged that a group of people, led by Khizir and the upazila unit AL Organizing Secretary Mizanur Rahman Badal, attacked Mirza and his supporters while they were in a meeting at Basurhat city unit AL office at Rupali Chattar on March 8 afternoon. ....
