The ninth permanent community vaccination clinic in Minnesota is opening this week in Lino Lakes, joining permanent clinics located in Minneapolis, Duluth, Rochester, Bloomington, St. Paul, St. Cloud, Mankato and Oakdale.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available at all of the vaccination sites, with the one in Lino Lakes inside the former YMCA building at 7690 Village Dr. The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be available at the Lino Lakes facility.
All Minnesotans over the age of 16 have been eligible for the vaccine since Mar. 30, though healthcare groups are still prioritizing persons aged 65 and older, essential workers and those with underlying health conditions. That said, there are hundreds of examples of everyday Minnesotans getting vaccinated without much issue.
