In training when they responded to a Domestic Violence incident around noon yesterday. About three hours later, she went back to help get belongings from the home when the suspected gunman opened fire. It took 45 minutes to rescue the wounded officer because of the suspected gunman, he continued firing. She later died at uc davis medical center.
