Rutland - “Get informed. Get screened. Get vaccinated.” Community Health supports Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. Cervical cancer is a condition that is preventable and curable. It can be detected by annual screening known as a PAP test. Also, the HPV vaccine, administered before a child is 14 years old, prevents the virus from becoming a cancer producing infection. Alzheimer's support group meets Jan. 10 at Community Health

Rutland - “Taking care of someone with Alzheimer’s is heartbreaking,” said Claudia Courcelle, Community Health Director of Care Management. “Family caregivers often feel awful that they don’t have the patience. It’s the worst feeling of guilt ever.” The general public isn’t aware of the guilt, suffering and struggle paid and unpaid caregivers go through.
