Senators cassidy and murphy were the leaders in this committee on Mental Health reform and in the senate. And those reforms included in our 21st century cures act. Senator murray is not here today so she asked senator murphy to fill in for her, and ive asked senator cassidy to chair most of this hearing, or at least until 11 45. The storm has been downgraded to a category 2. Dont get too excited about that. It has spread out in size and the eye is moving offshore to the north and west of puerto rico trying to restrengthen. Here is a closer look. The big eye is moving right by st. Croix. We dont have pictures from there yet but i think there is probably a lot of devastation on st. Croix. As it moves across puerto rico you see the eye disappearing, it downgraded from a category 4 to a category 3 and now a category 2. The spots were looking at may be a degree or two warmer currently than yesterday except for in south jersey where its a little more chilly than yesterday at this time. Take a comparison here. Yesterday you might remember the temperatures were about 20 degrees colder than the previous day. Now spots are warmer. Spots are warmer, more chilly. Starting out similar to yesterday meaning if you stepped out and went, ah, i should have grabbed the jacket, do it today. It feels very similar outside with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s. Look at our radar and satellite view. Totally clear picture. Not a problem to mention. We dont have worries of rain or clouds as we go through today. The fall feel meter, taking it back a notch.
