Munson Healthcare Releases Statement on Mask Policy

9 & 10 News May 14, 2021 Munson Healthcare Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Dianne Michalek has released a statement on their mask policy following the recent CDC and State of Michigan mask policy changes during the coronavirus pandemic. According to Michalek, “At Munson Healthcare our universal masking policy remains unchanged for clinical spaces, as the updated guidelines communicated by the CDC and State of Michigan do not apply to healthcare facilities. Our health system remains in a status orange pandemic response, which requires masking to remain in place.” Michalek continued, “We invite anyone visiting our facilities to go to our website, munsonhealthcare.org, to read our full masking policy. We continue to encourage everyone to get vaccinated to help slow the spread of COVID-19.”
