PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - The driver convicted of deliberately crashing his SUV into several cars and gas pumps was sentenced to a minimum of 22 years and a maximum of 27 years in prison.
Lake County Court of Common Pleas Judge Eugene Lucci sentenced Michael Craig, 60, on Monday.
A jury convicted Craig on Dec. 18, 2020 of multiple charges; including, aggravated arson, felonious assault, vandalism, inducing panic, aggravated menacing and resisting arrest.
On Feb. 29, 2020, Craig was in the GetGo parking lot on 1251 Mentor Avenue in Painesville Township when he sped up and rammed into a gas pump.
