LISBON Jack O. Colon, the Leetonia-area man who attempted to file treason charges against Gov. Mike DeWine in Common Pleas Court last week, was ordered to undergo a competency evaluation by Columbiana County Municipal Court Judge Katelyn Dickey on Thursday.
Colon, 60, Longs Crossing Road, Leetonia, is charged with an aggravated menacing charge, a first-degree misdemeanor. He appeared in custody by video from the county jail.
Assistant County Prosecutor Abbey Minamyer first asked Dickey to consider adding a condition to Colon’s bond that he have no contact with any of the schools in the county. One of the threats Colon reportedly made dealt with the schools harming children by making students wear masks.
