well, peter, i think many americans are confused by what exactly a secretary of state s role is in a situation like benghazi. well, i think there s probably no question about that. but i think that what we ve now discovered as the governor points out and i wrote about it last week in a column called the benghazi backfire is that the republicans have turned a look into how do you make our embassies more secure and how do you protect people into a hit job on hillary rodham clinton. now, that, to me, is pretty stupid. i mean, that s not smart for the republicans to do. and i think on the 22nd when she appears before that committee, they are going to have something to answer for. and i ll tell you, if i were those committee folks, i d say let s have her in and out of her in an hour because i don t think we want to be taking the incoming from hillary clinton on this. i don t think that s going to happen, peter. ....
