Hard liners now say some of the concessions mac carthy announced earlier today are insufficient. and in a letter they are making it clear they are still not sold on him. melanie zenona joins us now by phone. bring us up to speed, melanie. mccarthy has been negotiating for weeks. and ultimately, pam, he did agree to a number of their most hard line demands, and that includes giving just five lawmakers the power to call for a vote on an opposing sitting speaker. that is something i m told he announced on a conference call earlier today. but despite that it does not appear mccarthy s critics are sold on him, at least not yet. as we mentioned a group of nine hard liners put out a letter and said some of these suggestions insufficient. they want a single lawmaker to be able to call for a vote to be able a topple a speaker. that s how it used to be before speaker pelosi changed the rules. and also want a commitment ....
