Editor Warrentonâs planning commission Tuesday night tapped the brakes on an ordinance change that critics say would open much of the town to intense â and largely unchecked â residential development.
The proposed amendment would create âby-rightâ residential zoning of five units per acre on commercial property. It would apply to about 300 acres in Warrenton, Zoning Administrator Rob Walton said.
