Montgomery County plans to ramp up its vaccination efforts next week with its third, and largest, vaccination site near the Willow Grove Park mall.
At full capacity, up to 10,000 people a day could receive first and second doses of the vaccine, Commissioner Chair Val Arkoosh said Wednesday during a weekly news briefing.
However, Arkoosh said, when the site opens, and how many people it sees, depends on how many doses the county s Office of Public Health receives from the state. If we are able to open up next week, it will be much, much less than that, she said. If we get enough vaccine, we could do 500 people a day (when it opens). We ll see.
