Like Georgia s Restrictive Voting Law, NYC Prisoners Face Barriers

But there are also issues in New York City, where prisoners must rely on the effectiveness of prison staff to secure their votes. There are a number of things Bill de Blasio and his colleagues can do to ensure that prisoners get a chance to vote.
