And this morning RTE Radio 1 star Tubs said that he was unable to read coverage of the trial as it was too emotionally disturbing .
He also told the children s dad Andrew McGinley that he had the wind of the nation behind him.
In an emotionally charged opening to his show, Tubridy said he couldn t let details of the trial in as it unfolded this week.
He told listeners: I couldn t read the coverage of it because I found it so upsetting, I didn t want.. to be honest with ya, I didn t want to let it in. I didn t want to know the detail. ....

THE HUSBAND of a 44-year-old woman who this Thursday was found not guilty of murdering her three children by reason of insanity says “today’s verdict is probably the right verdict”.
Deirdre Morley suffocated nine-year-old Conor, seven-year-old Darragh and three-year-old Carla McGinley at their Dublin home on January 24, 2020.
She was suffering from a severe psychotic depressive illness at the time and believed the children had been irreparably damaged by her illness and her parenting.
The jury found Ms Morley not guilty of murder by reason of insanity on all counts. ....

The husband of Deirdre Morley says he needs the HSE to help him understand why his wife suffocated their three children.
The 44-year-old nurse was suffering from a severe mental illness when she killed her two young sons and daughter at their home in Parson’s Court in Newcastle last year.
She s been found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity.
Her husband, Andrew, has issued this statement:
Today’s verdict is probably the right verdict. Everyone who knows Deirdre, knows how much she loved our children and how devoted she was to them. ....
