However, I am “intrigued” by Warren Ellis’ likely last ever work for DC with Batman’s Grave #12 (Ellis has been accused of very heinous behavior that I will not litigate here). Plus Image’s Post Americana #1 looks interesting based solely on my appreciation of artist-writer Steve Skroce. Finally, Marvel’s Symbiote Spider-Man efforts have been pretty good over the last several months, but not sure how I like a King in Black focused prequel. We’ll see.
Fulton: I read the first issue or two of Batman’s Grave, what feels like a decade ago, but was probably less than a year, and wasn’t all that impressed. It didn’t feel like much of an Ellis story – just kind of standard. ....
