A recent article about The Bolles school dropping a class about racial literacy under pressure from parents and other  stakeholders made me think of a bill before the state Legislature. What do you think about parents being able to exempt their kids from required classes or to force a school to drop a class from the available curriculum?
What was the reason the parents and stakeholders gave when they asked the administrators at The Bolles to drop the class? Why are they unwilling to voice their reasons publicly? Should we assume the worst, i.e. they re white supremacists? ....
