You talk to anybody who deals with it. yes, you can make one bomb, you can blow up a toaster at home with a cell phone. yes. on and on and on. it s all sort of hollywood fantasy. but when you re you said fire, a running gun battle and throwing explosives out of a car, lighting them with a cigarette lighter, with i don t know how they lit them. and these things go off, it just doesn t happen. unless you ve had some sort of experience, or you ve been in a combat area. the special forces will tell you that most people freeze when shooting starts. these people didn t. they ran, they moved. they evaded. they held back a police pursuit. they had some sort of either ice water running through their blood or some sort of experience. right. mitch silva, would you go along with that? it certainly seems to me that these are people who have had either very good training or they just are unbelievably freakishly good at getting information from the internet. but you ve got to say the former is the ....

Level. we had to put all of that on fast forward. jenna: we were hering from the air force chief of staff tracking about future conflict but we re very much in a war right now and the military has to deal with budgets all the time when you re in a combat area like afghanistan. in your experience, nearly 40 years in the army, what happens during a time like this when there is some sort of budgetary crisis or concern in washington but you re on the battlefield? well, what they will try to do with the forces on the battlefield is continue to provide them with the priorities they need in terms of ammunition, and supplies and all the other necessary priorities. they will do everything they can to fence them. what will it impact on is those who were preparing to go. they will not have as many training hours, as many flying hours. ships are not going to be sailing to the same degree they did. we have the best technology in the world, best airplanes, best tanks, best ships, best submarines. ....

and there s that clock that we speak of. just under two days away from a time when we re told by the treasury, this country will not be able to pay all of its bills. so let me give you the rundown of what s happening today. the house gets to work around noontime today. that s just about two hours from now. after some debate, they ll vote on a proposal from senate majority leader, harry reid. that proposal is expected to fail. then on the senate side, they open debate on that same reid bill at 1:00 eastern time this afternoon. the debate there could go on for some 12 hours. now, it may not be until a lot of us are asleep that the senate gets to vote on that reid bill. the senate has moved on to the reid bill after deciding not to vote on the bill from house speaker john boehner. the nays are 210, the bill is passed. without objection to motion to reconsider is laid upon the table. what you re seeing there is that speaker boehner s bill actually passed. it finally pas ....

You this morning rnths hi, good morning. you know what critics said about president bush, they said he didn t have an exit strategy in iraq and now people are starting to get the sense that president obama doesn t necessarily know how to define success and move forward. do you agree with that? yeah, it s the appearance of both. i think it s very accurate. both statements. we ve got eight years of war going on and the problems after 9/11, to kill bin laden and let him go away and omar and the rest and we stayed and fumbled around with a thing called nation building which we have never done well as a nation and now a new administration with new hope, we re looking for an answer. we put 20,000 marines in there and seems to not be enough and then you put more soldiers in a combat area and lose more of these great guys and get the discourse about what to do. it s a mess that doesn t need to be that way. let me throw up a fox news poll we just conducted here asking americans do you ....
