COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - With two new senators coming to the U.S. Capitol soon, it’s also a victory for Georgia Democrats.
Some leaders in the Chattahoochee Valley said it’s time for a change. They said they are excited to see an African American pastor and man of Jewish faith represent Georgia.
“I am ecstatic. I am very excited. I am thankful,” said Columbus City Councilor Toyia Tucker.
Local Democrats said they are thrilled to see two new faces coming to Congress. ....
