Port Authority's charging station sees steady use | News, Sports, Jobs

LISBON Since its launch in October, the electric vehicle charging station at the Columbiana County Port Authority has seen steady usage from both local drivers and travelers passing through.
During the board’s Monday meeting, Bobby Ritchey, private sector group specialist for the CCPA, said the station has filled a void in the area and has seen consistent usage even during the winter months.
Although electric vehicle charging stations are becoming more prevalent in general, Columbiana County and the surrounding area is extremely limited in number. CCPA’s charging station is one of the 13 between Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, and is the only public charging station near U.S. Route 30 between Canton and the Pittsburgh Airport. ....
