After a rough year, with pandemic, smoke, a major peach crop freeze, and road closures; the good news is the peach crops are flourishing, the festival activities are all planned and we are ready to invite you all to the 52nd Annual Palisade Peach Festival, August 19th – 21st, with Ice Cream Social and Street Dance on the evening of the 19th, and festival in Riverbend Park, the 20th and 21st. Volunteers, staff, and the people of Palisade are all working to bring back the power of the peach, with all things peach. ....

But chefs are often the face of restaurants, so it s great to see them in action, even if we have to turn on the TV instead of grabbing a chef s-counter seat to watch the action. Two Colorado chefs will be coming to your living room to show off their talents one of them tonight. Sarah Cloyd, executive chef at Steuben s Arvada (at 7355 Ralston Road), is dueling celebrity chef Bobby Flay on his Food Network show, Beat Bobby Flay. Cloyd has been with Steuben s for the past year, but the episode was filmed in late 2019, when she was still working at Euclid Hall (which closed in March 2020). ....
