The sergeant, later identified by Joseph Iachetta, 30, of Colonie, was taken to Albany Medical Center with what police described as serious injuries that left him unconscious and will require multiple surgeries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as Gregory Discipio, 25, of Rotterdam. He was uninjured in the crash. He was operating the tractor-trailer for Price Chopper/Market 32. ....
