argued that is pretext to get their hands on the former president s financial documents but lower courts have said that the committee could obtain these documents until the supreme court intervened here and put a temporary pause on this. now, erica, if the supreme court affirms this lower court ruling, if this is allowed to stand, it is significant because if the house ways and means committee is allowed to obtain these tax returns from the former president, that really would represent a significant chipping away at some of the protections that are afforded to sitting presidents and signal a real boost to congress s over site powers. so we ll see what the supreme court does here. this is just temporary. paula, appreciate it. also with us elie honig and when we look at this, i think it might be helpful to just remind us all the reason that they said as paula layed out, they want to look into how the irs is going through the tax returns. if and when they actually do g ....

Mean? is this a prelude to something to come? yeah, it could very well be. one of the things to keep in mind, if the reports are accurate that these two pilots are being trained in the tucson, arizona, area, that is the home of the davis air force base. they have f-16s and a-10s. they are a memorable support aircraft and they could probably more easily by trained on the a-10 than on the f-16. again, of course, it depends on their individual qualifications and at this point we really don t know if this is purely an assessment to see how capable the ukrainians actually are, or if it is something greater than that. all right. very enlightening. colonel cedrick layton, thank you so much. good to see you too, fredricka. thank you so much. almost a year after the oscar slap, chris rock is finally telling his version of the story. ....
