Heartfelt tributes have been paid to an inspirational principal who died after his fight with Motor Neurone Disease.
A former principal awarded an OBE for services to Special Education has sadly passed away at home on Wednesday.
Colm Davis retired from his position as head teacher of at Tor Bank School, Dundonald, in 2017, a year after he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease when the condition took away his ability to speak.
His family have asked for donations to either Motor Neurone Disease Association Northern Ireland, Marie Curie or Northern Ireland Hospice in lieu of flowers.
Mr Davis, who is survived by his wife Victoria and three children, Victoria, Amy and Colm, will be remembered for his tireless fundraising efforts for the Motor Neurone charities and for his positive outlook on life.
