The fbi is investigating a brazen multimillion dollar scheme allegedly by two hollywood actresses in an attempt to get students into yale, georgetown and the university of southern california. In court yesterday a federal judge takd on additional three and a half years to the 40 month sentence he received last week. Seated in a wheelchair manafort told the courtroom quote, im sorry for what i have done and for all the activities that have gotten us here today. The judge responded saying im sorry i got caught is not an inspiring call for leniency. The judge chided manaforts lawyers for using the charges in the case to try to disprove any collusion between the Trump Campaign and russian efforts to influence the 2016 election. Despite that statement from the judge, manaforts lead attorney had this to say outside of the courtroom after the sentencing.
