The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 12 new COVID positives Saturday. The Fort Frances area is the hot zone with 7 cases. The Kenora Health Hub has four cases, while the Sioux Lookout has one. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is identifying three more COVID-19 cases with variants of concern, on top of ten new infections. That brings the active case count to 67. The province is confirming 4,094 new COVID-19 cases, saying 2,277 more people have been admitted to hospital with the disease. That includes 833 patients in intensive care with the virus.
