TYNGSBORO Outgoing Town Manager Matt Hanson thought when walking into the Chateau Merrimack Friday morning that he would be doing just one last ribbon cutting in Tyngsboro on his final day before becoming the town manager of Bedford. Hanson did cut the ribbon for the Chateau’s new coffeehouse, Pasha, alongside incoming Town Manager Colin Loiselle, but the event turned out to be more than that.
THE BILLERICA Select Board voted 4-1 Sept. 11 to allow a “pro-life” flag to fly at the Billerica Public Library from Oct. 16 to Oct. 31, per a request by a group of residents who wanted to fly the flag for “Pro-Life Month.” There was one thing, however, that was completely missing from the discussion over whether to fly a pro-life flag on a public flagpole: Abortion.
