that s at 5:30. well he apparently flew off in the middle of the night. investigators are looking for a bay area pilot accused of stealing a private plane from his employer. the man hasn t been seen in a week ever since he took off from the peninsula. nbc bay area s michelle roberts joins us with an update now from the peninsula. michelle? reporter: raj, william mcadams took off from this airport last friday. since then nobody has heard from him. his last throne location was approaching the mexican border about 70 miles offshore. friends and family of william mcadams are asking for help. they are posting pictures on facebook and sharing what little information they have. 24-year-old mcadams has been working as a flight instructor at advantage aviation in palo alto and he hasn t been seen since last friday. we re looking at a lot of electronic information we were able to glean from him, computers, cell phones radar data, anything to give us an idea what his motive might
