Feb 22, 2021 Phillip Rocco “PR” Pergi, 56, passed away peacefully on the evening of February 19, 2021, surrounded by family. Phillip was born on October 19, 1964, in Steubenville. He is an alumni of St. Agnes Elementary School, Catholic Central High School, and DeVry University, from which he graduated with a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. He pursued a career in the steel industry, leaving as an Operations Manager of Arcelor-Mittal’s Cleveland site. He was a longtime member of Eastern States Blast Furnace and Coke Oven Association, of which he has presided as a board member for several years. He is survived by his three children, Eliese, Phillip J., and Daniel Pergi, as well as his parents, Phillip and Terry Pergi, and his siblings Peter, Tracy, and Brenan Pergi. ....
