Five people in Salisbury who kept us going during pandemic


After an incredibly tough and disappointing year, this Christmas we are all looking forward to a more positive 2021. 
The pandemic has brought heartbreak, worry and frustration with all our lives having been affected and disrupted in one way or another.
But if there’s one good thing coronavirus has done, it has shed light on how strong our community can be when we all come together.
This year, there have been plenty of examples of strong community spirit and lots of feel-good stories have been printed based on kind-hearted individuals who put others above themselves.

Is a LEOPARD on the hunt in a tiny Wiltshire village?


Photos have emerged of a leopard which was spotted stalking a tiny village – although some locals claim it s a toy or an ornament.
The large spotted feline was seen hunched below a grass burrow in a park in Codford in Wiltshire.
One local had been taking a lunchtime stroll last Thursday when he noticed the predator and decided to take a photo.
The large cat was said to have stayed eerily still before running off just seconds after the photo had been taken. But other locals claim it s not a real leopard – but a toy or ornament.
The eyewitness said: I was walking with my mate and its colouring caught the corner of my eye. At first I thought Is that a dog? Is that a large swan? I stopped walking and turned over to look at it. ....
