Loudoun United continued to bolster their squad for the 2021 season, announcing the re-signing of four players; midfielders Ted Ku-DiPietro and Tyler Gabbara, and defenders Timmy Mehl and Robby Dambrot.
At 19, Ku-DiPietro is the youngest signing on the roster currently, but has worked with Coach Ryan Martin for some time now. In his first full professional season, the former D.C. United Academy player appeared in nine games (starting 4) in 2020, scoring a goal in the team’s only win of the season, a 2-1 win over the New York Red Bulls II. Ku-DiPietro has appeared in 18 games over two seasons, scoring twice and adding an assist.

Days after making Drew Skundrich their 4th signing of the 2021 season, Loudoun United doubled their total, adding four more players in various positions for the coming season in a Thursday afternoon announcement. The group is a mix of players with local ties and some international experience, and as Coach Ryan Martin said, “We not only wanted talented and athletic players, but we also wanted to find players that had a love and passion for the game and who show competitive drive, resiliency and a desire to improve every day.”
