Connor Mayall: YMCA Mike Chianakas Award Winner Canton Daily Ledger CANTON Connor Mayall received the 2020 Canton Family YMCA Mike Chianakas Outstanding Youth Award for boys. This award is given annually to young athletes who exhibit athletic ability, Christian character, sportsmanship and exemplary YMCA participation. Connor has been a long time member of the Y and was very involved in many of the Y’s programs. In 2005, he started attending the Y’s preschool program. He participated in tumbling & trampoline, swim lessons, youth soccer and basketball. He continued playing soccer and basketball throughout his elementary school years. In 2016 Connor was hired as a YMCA summer camp counselor. ....
