Frightened, jake. i wanted to speak out and remind our countrymen this isn t normal. this is contrary to who we are as a people. and general, i do want to note that since that attack on cnn international on saturday, we have seen the libyan media dismissing a very, very real cnn report which exposed the slave trade in that country. libyan media saying, well, president trump calls it fake so maybe this isn t real. we ve seen the egyptian government decry cnn international coverage of the mosque bombing as deplorable. what does that say to you? well, what it says to me is that the president saying this gives head room for every autocratic regime on the planet to go ahead and use the space our president, frankly, jake, has provided them to do the kinds of things they wanted to do in the first place but they knew earlier would risk the ire and perhaps the response of the american government. now i think they feel free to do that. ....
