Weve seen big losses in the chinese stock market, and although it might not seem important to you as investors, the problem is that a lot of Big Companies like mcdonalds and apple and intel, they all do business in china. So if the Chinese Consumer pulls back and cant buy their products it really hits their bottom line and wall street is very worried about that. Theyre also worried because the Chinese Government authorities which control that market dont seem to be putting place the type of support that that market needs right now. And so as a result of that the selling intensified overnight in the european markets and the asian markets and thats why we saw that 1,000point plunge in the Dow Jones Industrial average.
