Members of the community have been remembering City Councillor Clyde Blackburn, who passed away over the weekend after a battle with leukemia.  
Mayor Jackie Clayton shared the news earlier in the week, and City flags were lowered in honour of him.  
Mayor Clayton said, “Clyde s strong and respectful approach to decision making is a model that all leaders would be wise to emulate.” 
“It is a sad day, but Clyde s legacy is something we can all cherish.” 
Tributes have poured in for Mr. Blackburn from community groups and individuals who he impacted.   ....

Condo association to deal with own infrastructure issues -- Creekside board feels slighted with city's tax structure

Two members of the Creekside Condo Association were online participants at the Infrastructure and Economic Development Committee on Tuesday morning.
Creekside association members pay taxes and condo fees but feel they’re not receiving the same level of service as homeowners in the city: like snow removal, for example.

“Back in November we did a presentation before council with some of our concerns about how the city collects our taxes of about $750,000 per year but we feel we don’t get many services from the city,” said Joanne Woodworth, one of the volunteer directors on the Creekside Condominium Association board. ....
