SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) The St. Cloud Tech Tigers defeated the Alexandria Cardinals in high school baseball action on Thursday night. The Cardinals scored twice in the 5th inning. The first coming on a Lake Hagen RBI single. The other came on a Tigers throwing error. The Tigers scored three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning including a walk-off 2 RBI single from Matt Friesen. He was named the All-Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game. Thomas Hoffman started for the Tigers pitching 6 1/3 innings and giving up 2 unearned runs. The Tigers next game is on Monday against St. Francis. ....
