Dog-poo problem blights Carlow’s prettiest village

THE scourge of dog fouling has not escaped Carlow’s prettiest village, with Clonegal having its own issues.
Dog fouling has now been reported in the village at the new cemetery on the Tullow Road, including one distressing incident on a grave. Elsewhere in the town, it can be found close to the school on the footpath and in green areas, too.
“It’s pretty bad, to be honest. The latest thing has been it appearing in the cemetery on the Tullow Road. I don’t believe it has happened there before,” said one Clonegal woman, who did not wish to be identified.
